A Southpaw Cassette Beast, which is a maroon anthropomorphic wolf with a metal boxing helmet and gloves with spikes on the knuckles, stands triumphantly after delivering a left handed uppercut against another southpaw whose ears are barely visible in front of the viewer as they fall down. They're in a grassy area with a cloudy blue sky behind them. The floor around them is devoid of grass, perhaps implying duels between beasts happen here often.

So I took part of a little group activity during Keliff’s “Draw With Roo” stream and we did Keliff’s fav creature from Cassette Beasts.

This was actually WAY more than I intended to do! Originally I just wanted to do a sketch to take part but then OOPS! All colours. I was extremely pumped from having I’m Here constantly on loop in the background (just under the volume of Keliff haha)

Technically this was already public as it was shared in Keliff’s stream but that’s a smaller audience so I’m still letting Patreons have it as a sneak peek before I properly publish it to sites :3c

Thoughts like a review below but there ARE spoilers so if you don’t want the spoilers: A summary – I enjoyed it but it is a little lacklustre compared to it’s Sword and Shield equivalent. There are some technical issues that need addressing oh my god are there.

It’s one thing to be in a world you’re not familiar with but then also suddenly you’re shiny and hollow? Well I’m sure this dracthyr will get used to it, on the upside you’re waterproof now!

Commission for Veladynee of their dracthyr (they/them) suddenly now an inflatable toy and taking that in!

I wanted an autumnal icon for well, autumn, and apparently Marcus hasn’t actually been rendered properly since 2021????????????????????????????

So tanuki time 🙂

He was on the character wheel piece but it was under the limited 11 colour palette (or whatever low number it was limited to) so this is more the accurate colours :B

Steam Page (Touhou Wiki)

It fun! Wow! I did a big review over on Steam though if people want to see what my thoughts are in a review setting (it’s also below the OST download). I know I could put that here but I don’t want to work out how to do spoiler text on my site B)

I’m mostly just posting this so I can link the BGM extractions I did (MP3 | OGG)!

So yeah, my thoughts: Game fun! Wow!

Genuine summary: The game has it’s flaws but for a Vs Danmaku game (The 3rd official one) it is genuinely enjoyable and dare I say it “fun”. Though if you really, really, really like Phantasmagoria of Flower View, then give the demo a shot ‘cus you don’t like the demo you might not enjoy the full game

There’s spoilers hidden away here, even on returning chars, so people can be surprised if they’re trying to be spoiler free (somehow, after 48 hours)
