The only thing more worrying than a dragon who can create a multi-dimensional rift that paradoxically exists, is a sibling envious of his much more powerful junior. A running theme with the Occassus line seems to be at least some degree of space time manipulation[1], however none of this line of dragons match DarkOverord.

Ability

Most of Congeria’s ability was covered in The Riftmaker’s article, but there are some differences. For one, Congeria has nowhere near the same potential of outright destruction[2], he would never be able to create a huge rift he couldn’t seal away. He could never cause a lake to dissipate by altering it’s state of matter. He certainly cannot alter the flow of time to the same degree as his brother.

However, perhaps as a side effect to this, one difference to their ability that Congeria does demonstrate is perhaps the chaos that comes in tow. As Congeria’s ability is nowhere as near as stable as The Riftmaker’s, they open and close almost at random and are incredibly difficult to traverse. A suspicion many have is that Congeria is in a way a caretaker to The Rift as well, providing the common instabilities that are observed[3].

As Congeria’s ability is to a much more minor degree than The Riftmaker, his threat lies not in that but his physical strength. He is much stronger than his siblings and is even suspected to be faster, though perhaps not as bright[4]. For everything he lacks, he makes it up with sheer brute force.

Eyewitnesses

“He’s always seen with that stop sign, but there’s no way with how much he fights with it that it isn’t enchanted.” (JOS)
Given that the chunk of concrete is still attached, I am likened to agree.

“He is actually quite nice, given his appearance and reputation. He’s a regular in most the cafés here.” (Café worker)
This is perhaps one of the most surprising things about him, given the anger and ferocity he fights with.

“He occasionally plays gambling games with us but he always seems to have an uncanny ability to always win, even when we load the dice against him.” (Gambling man)
You probably shouldn’t openly admit it, but given gambling games are games of chaos, it makes sense he would be successful.

“I would honestly suggest you quit making an article about him before you feed his ego…” (DarkOverord Occassus)
We need to record all threats and supernatural abilities, whether or not you like it Riftmaker.

Countermeasures

The usual rules about dragons applies. Do not trigger their short temper, be polite, don’t insult him and stay out of his way. If you do end up in a fight with him, be prepared for a furious fight.

[1]: At least this is believed to be the case. Very little is known of the Occassus line, and only Congeria and DarkOverord have truly shown their abilities. The third sibling, Lucernaz, mostly prefers to lean on magic with occasionally demonstrating some space manipulation.
[2]: Using his ability at least, he can quite easily destroy in other ways.
[3]
: This implies however, that he may have to a degree the ability to manipulate chaos itself. But it’s never been observed, at least directly.
[4]
: I wouldn’t say this to him however. Though it could entirely be a misread of his personality as well…
