The Rocky Elemental Magician

JOS is an elemental magician who had an accident while attempting to improve his magical abilities. As a result the majority of his left side was converted in to rock and green crystals.

He stands at 5’10” tall (not including his ears). His organic side resembles that of a chubby anthro fox with large bat ears, bright green eyes and purple wings sticking out of his back. His hands, feet, belly, muzzle and tail share a lighter colour while the rest of his body is an orange yellow. His red hair is actually dyed and is naturally the colour of his fur.

His inorganic side has large crystalline claws on his rocky hands and paws as well as a large crystal jutting out his left shoulder. In his left ear there is a cluster of smaller crystals and he has four crystals sticking out of his face where there would be tufts of fur on his right side. Generally the rocks are static, moving in parts however his left eye can still move around, though he doesn’t “see” out of that eye as he would through his organic right eye.

As a result of this, JOS’ sight is a mixture of light based and magical aura vision, something that left him disorientated for years after the accident. As a result of this, for some time JOS became idle and put on weight that he never really shook off. After mastering his elemental side, JOS became a skilled magician who specialises in earth element magic, though he can use other elements too and usually will combine them with earth element abilities.

Personality wise, JOS tries to pass off as calm and collected however can be easily flustered if rather stressed. He has an interest in expanding his magical knowledge and can become rather distracted in places such as libraries.

Character History

JOS is one of the oldest characters I have alongside Simon. He was originally a computer engineer but somewhere that became magician.

And then I rocked his world.
