A red vampire hedgehog looking a little scared and concerned at its hand now wing as it shifts in to a bat form. It says out loud "Wait, what the...? No no no no no no no no no no (cut off the screen edge) It's stood in a wood panelled room with a little table connected to the wall. The window is open and you can see outside and the moon is currently large in the sky behind the silhouettes of other houses. In the lower left is a doodle version of the hedgehog now in bat form saying "Note to self: Do not think of flying when not concentrating. This is fine, advantageous! Just... Not right now."

First Bat Shift

So you’ve been turned by a vampire, you’ve got sick new fangs, cool eyes that you can use to put prey to sleep, you’re struggling with being very thirsty but it’s growing on you now, and started seeing others as food and/or heat sources now you don’t make it any more on the account of the whole *gestures* not living thing, your body keeps acting on instinct but it’s been mostly fine ‘cus it’s been to feed. Cool!
Then you idly thought about flying without thinking about it and oops turns out the myth about bat forms is true! You’ll work it out!

 Oops the vamp train has well and truly left the station now so I guess we have a bloodthirsty hedgehog now.

There was shenanigans on social media and they didn’t leave my brain so here’s the end result of that. I’m mostly posting this now ‘cus it was very sudden for me to do this at 2AM this morning so this is technically the first art of 2024 :’D

Loopy New Vampire Adventures
Simon looking unusually happy It has grown fangs and a clear bite mark is present on its neck, where its shirt has been pushed away

A vampiric Simon looking at the viewer, perhaps even looking a little deranged with a smile and wide eyes. They're saying to the viewer "Did you know that hedgehogs are predators? I know! You'd not think of that normally. All this is tapping in to instincts I didn't know this body even had."

A vampiric Simon menacingly looking at the viewer, their eyes glowing They're saying to the viewer "But you know what will be much more interesting? You learning some prey instincts even if your species never was." Then in a different font "Tremble and freeze in place, it's only natural for you."
A rather fangy Simon, a hedgehog being very normal about how you should consider your blood would be better in them and that you should SLEEP They look very menacing.

A reference sheet for DarkOverord Occassus, a red anthropomorphic western dragon. 🔞 Adult Ref under the cut 🔞

So DO’s old reference is from 2018. My artistic ability has improved, and also I Gender’d (well technically, I ungender’d) so here we are, new reference.

That I’ve been trying to do since March. I may or may not have mentioned that the Ferris reference was meant to be DO’s so… we’re here finally.

I don’t plan on doing another reference for a while now but I’m glad it’s done, it needed that update.

Fun fact: Back in the late 00s/early 10s I genuinely considered actually being a rubber dragon but lets just say I got creeped on and went “NOPE”

Well I’m a decade older now and who gives a fuck? Not me anymore, I draw squeaky things with dicks for a living sometimes now :B
