Richard Rickson Reference

Simon is one of two twins, so I figured “well Richard is 75-85% the same as his brother” so I decided to do his reference too. This proooooobably added way more effort than I should’ve allowed lol.

A quick bio of both

Simon Rickson – Gay, archaeologist, likes to run.

Richard Rickson – Pan, totally wasn’t the one more annoyed at being mistaken for his brother as a kid so made sure his build was different on top of getting a lot of piercings.

Forest Clearing

What’s Marcus doing here? Was feeling a little burned out so I decided to do something personal.

Which is exactly why it ended up being Extra compared to what I had intended lol

The shirt isn’t any specific design but man I like it. It’s kinda based off Aya’s shirts in Touhou. The background isn’t any specific clearing but it’s inspired by the Youkai Tanuki Forest in Touhou.

It was also a weird self flex considering the main reason I wanted a quick personal break was ‘cus I didn’t want to do a background.

Adjuro Simul

Adjuro Simul, a large muscular magical construct in the form of a four armed muscular grey tenrec with purple accents. Their top two limbs have their arms raised to their sides, a flame in their right hand, an orb of lightning in their left. Their lower arms are holding swords, pointed downwards and in front of them so they cross over near their shins. They have a lightning based sword, with a fire design on the pummel, in their right hand, and a fire based sword, with a lightning design on the pummel, in their left. Tied around their waist are two large purple sashes, where after the knot the material flows freely they have fire and lightning patterns.

I did a doodle of Adjuro last month and I wanted to actually render it! Adjuro isn’t also usually this buff but I wanted to do something different.

I normally draw this tenrec as the split forms (Ignis the blue tenrec in image 3, and Fulgar the orange tenrec in image 4) and rarely the actual character themself.

For context Adjuro is not a fusion character, Ignis and Fulgar are just when they split themselves to cover more ground etc. as it’s easier to do that as two bodies instead of one.

Other than some outward personality differences, they’re identical and are always mentally connected as Adjuro.
